*911 Goes to Washington:

The Michigan Chapter will be sponsoring one member to attend 911 Goes to Washington in February of 2020. If you would like to be considered, please submit a letter of interest to address no later than Wednesday, December 4 @ 4:00 pm.

The Executive Board will review the letters and make a selection at the meeting on Thursday, December 5. This will allow time for travel plans and securing lodging. The only two requirements are that you must be a NENA member in good standing and willing to attend the March 26 meeting in Livingston County to discuss the trip with the membership.  If you have any questions, please send an email and we will get them answered. 

*The NENA Executive Board is seeking a Training Subcommittee Chairperson. 

The role of the Chairperson will be to coordinate and oversee training set up by the Michigan Chapter throughout the year. The goal of the training will be to bring the most informative and up to date training to our membership. The role could include working with other organizations such as APCO and MCDA to coordinate joint training efforts when appropriate.

If you are interested, please submit a letter of interest to  by Wednesday, December 4 @ 4:00 pm as the Executive Board will make a selection at the meeting on Thursday December 5.

We are seeking a highly motivated member that understands the time commitment this could entail and the dedication to getting the best training available. We would like to host at minimum, one multi day training a year.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
